Stages Cycling Introduces Power Meter for Latest Cannondale™ SI Cranks

May 6, 2021

Featuring Tour de France winning Stages Gen 3 electronics

(Boulder, CO) Stages Cycling adds to their already impressive line of Stages Power Meters for any bike, any drivetrain and any rider with the latest model for use with Cannondale’s SI cranks.

Stages has offered its single-side left power technology for Cannondale SI crank models since 2014, which features Cannondale’s proprietary fixing bolt design. The latest SI crank design features a self-extracting bolt design which can be installed and removed with standard tools. While the models are interchangeable, many riders will prefer the convenience of the new design.

Stages introduced its left-side power meters in 2012, which were quickly validated at the highest level of competition with Chris Froome’s Tour de France win in 2015. Stages Power Meters also received rave reviews from the cycling media and consumers alike for their reliable, accurate performance and lower price point compared to other power meter designs available.

“From the start it’s been our goal at Stages to make world-class power meter technology widely available and accessible to all riders,” said Sean Coffey, Stages Global Marketing Director. “This means not only focusing on pricepoint with no compromise in reliability and accuracy, but also offering the broadest range of compatible models, so there’s a Stages Power Meter  for every budget and every drivetrain.”

Stages Gen 3 power meters feature all high-resolution Stages electronics with enhanced signal strength for reliable, consistent data capture and transfer. The small and discreet meter delivers 200+ hours of user-replaceable battery life while adding just 20 grams and is available for Shimano, Campagnolo, SRAM and other crank styles in single and dual-sided options.

Like all Stages Power Meters, the Cannondale SI model features ANT+ and dual Bluetooth data transmission and is compatible with most GPS cycling computers including the company’s own Stages Dash. The same Stages Power Meter technology is found on the StagesBike SB20 Smart Bike  as well as on thousands of studio bikes in cycling studios and gyms worldwide.
