Sage Titanium Bikes Introduces a Hardtail for Going Big

April 4, 2022

Flow Motion is an all-mountain hardtail with modern trail geometry, long travel fork, and 29-inch wheels.

Beaverton, Ore. (April 4th, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Sage Titanium Bikes, the boutique manufacturer of titanium bikes that counts Beaverton, Ore. as both its physical and spiritual home, is proud to release a wholescale overhaul of its hardtail mountain bike, Flow Motion.

The most rugged of Sage’s mountain bikes, this hardcore hardtail was born on the legendary trails of Sandy Ridge, Ore., and is handmade in Portland from USA-made 3/2.5 titanium tubing. Like all of Sage’s bikes, Flow Motion is available with custom geometry, or in four stock sizes (S-XL).

“I designed Flow Motion as the ‘refined ripper,’ for riders progressing into ever steeper ranges and pushing the boundaries, whether it is rock slabs, steep gradients, drops, step-ups or step-downs,” said Sage founder David Rosen. “Do not let the lusty titanium frame fool you, Flow Motion is ready to test the limits. Launch it, rip it, climb it, drop it.”

Built around a 150mm fork, it is a bike unburdened by the complexity of pivots. It is light, snappy, and a joy to ride both down the trail and back up again.

Technical highlights:

  • Longer/lower/slacker – buzz words for sure, but when it’s the truth it’s the truth
  • Built using USA-made straight gauge titanium tubing
  • Designed around a 150mm fork with a 44mm offset
  • 29-inch specific wheel size, with clearance for up to 2.4” tires
  • Internal brake and dropper routing
  • 1x-specific design
  • Boost chainstay spacing
  • 6mm seatpost designed to handle 175mm dropper posts

The new Flow Motion will be on display at Sea Otter from April 7th through 10th at tent G58 in the expo, and available for purchase on the Sage Titanium website. For media appointments at Sea Otter, please contact bobby.lea@backbone.media.

About Sage Titanium

Sage Titanium Bikes was founded in 2012 with the idea of setting itself apart from the rest of the crowd. Sage bikes are meant to be lusted after. They are meant to be held onto and cherished. Titanium has always represented the “future” while still maintaining the heritage of cycling’s past. It exudes a toughness and an elegance that no frame material can match. It amazes and inspires our creativity and it is the foundation of every Sage bicycle. All bikes are manufactured in Sage Titanium’s  Beaverton, Ore. headquarters out of tube sets produced entirely in the U.S.A.
