Moorestown, NJ – RunSignup|GiveSignup hosted a free Virtual Cram Session on August 25, 2020 to help race organizers, timers, and nonprofits plan for an unprecedented fall race season. The one-day program consisted of 11 sessions focused on pivoting normal operations to meet the moment, including virtual races, virtual challenges, modified in-person events, and building contingency plans to create reliable revenue streams. More than 600 industry professionals registered to participate.

At the same time, in July we had a 46% increase in new races (compared to July 2019), indicating that customers are either new to our platform or creating entirely new race concepts. We hosted these sessions to help those new races – and established races with new virtual components – learn the platform efficiently.”
Cram Session presentations included:

- Peer-to-Peer fundraising and case studies of virtual nonprofit events
- Raising money for Giving Tuesday
- Setting up virtual results
- A refresh of RaceDay Scoring
- A rundown of key features for virtual and hybrid events and a Town Hall for questions
