Registration Now Open for the 2024 BMW Dallas Marathon Festival

Featuring the New EIGHT K in Partnership with EIGHT Elite Light Lager

DALLAS, May 1, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Registration for the 2024 BMW Dallas Marathon Festival is officially open! After a record-breaking turnout last year with more than 30,000 participants, organizers are excited to kick off the 53rd event, which will include new additions such as the EIGHT K, in partnership with EIGHT Elite Light Lager.

Jason Schuchard, the new president of the Dallas White Rock Marathon, the parent organization of the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival, said his team is looking forward to putting on another memorable event and welcoming participants from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and beyond.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce that registration for the 2024 BMW Dallas Marathon Festival is now open,” said Schuchard. The annual BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon (running and walking), 50K Ultra Marathon, and Shell Energy Relays will take place on Sunday, Dec.15. The EIGHT K, 5K (running and walking), 5K Team Challenge, Kid’s 100-Meter Dash and Oncor Kid’s Race will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, and the Friday Night Lights Mile will return on Friday, Dec. 13.

The newest addition to the weekend of events is the EIGHT K in partnership with EIGHT Elite Light Lager. This will mark EIGHT’s third year of partnership as the official beer of the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival.

The weekend of events will begin Friday, Dec. 13, with the Health & Fitness Expo at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, where participants will pick up race packets and can sample and buy merchandise from running, fitness and health-related vendors. Admission into the Expo is free and runs through Saturday.

Participants can register for the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival weekend of events starting today. BMW Weekend Series participants can choose any combination of events across Saturday, Dec. 14, and Sunday, Dec.15 to complete the series. Those who complete the series will earn an additional bonus medal, a custom Asics finisher jacket, and a commemorative event weekend poster. Participants are encouraged to register now for the lowest price of the year, as prices will increase throughout the summer and fall.

The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival weekend of events directly benefits Scottish Rite for Children Hospital. Since being named as the primary beneficiary in 1997, the Dallas Marathon has donated more than $4.5 million to the hospital.
