Registration Now Open for the 2022 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler

Scheduled for Nov. 6, the “most Pittsburgh race ever” will celebrate its 10th anniversary and offer a 10K option for first time

PITTSBURGH (May 19, 2022)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Registration for the 2022 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler is officially open. Scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 6, the “most Pittsburgh race ever” will celebrate its 10th anniversary and once again take participants on a scenic tour of Pittsburgh with fun course activations along the way that will celebrate the Steel City. For the first time, the event will offer a 10K option to inspire even more people to participate.

“It’s been so rewarding to watch this event grow over the past 10 years and inspire thousands of runners to challenge themselves and earn their medal after crossing the finish line,” said Ellen Rossi, President of EQT Foundation. “Building healthy communities is central to our mission, and by adding the 10K-distance option, we hope to inspire even more people to move with us at this year’s event.”

The race will once again celebrate the best that Pittsburgh has to offer with fun course activations that will entertain and delight participants as they make their way through four Pittsburgh neighborhoods before finishing in Downtown. All participants in this year’s event will receive a technical quarter-zip race shirt, personalized bib and finishers medal.

“Celebrating all things Pittsburgh, the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler has become a favorite for runners,” said Troy Schooley, P3R CEO. “The scenic course, amazing gear and fall weather are just some of the reasons that participants come back year after year to run this event.”

Participants can register at the early bird pricing of just $50 for the 10-mile event or for $40 for the 10K event. A virtual option is also available. The EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler is the third event part of the 2022 #RUNwithP3R Challenge. Runners who complete any DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon event, the Fleet Feet Liberty Mile and the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler in 2022 will earn a bonus medal as part of the challenge.
