RAM Racing Raises Over $32,000 For Chicago Covid-19 Fund After Record Registrations

June 11, 2020

Cinco de Miler achieves largest registration numbers in event history

June 11, 2020 (Chicago, IL)– RAM Racing, the leading endurance race producer in the country, has announced it has raised over $32,000 for the Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund via registration for the annual Cinco de Miler running event.

Despite the decision to switch to a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cinco de Miler reached record registration numbers. With an event sell-out at 6,000 total registrations, nearly 4,000 of those registrations occurred after the event switched to virtual. The success of the event mirrors RAM Racing’s commitment to putting on world-class events, both in-person and virtually.

Normally held in Chicago, this year’s Cinco de Miler participants came together virtually and raised $32,869.69 for the Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund (https://www.chicagocovid19responsefund.org/). These funds will help provide food, shelter, and much more to those impacted by the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic.

In order to streamline operations and provide an exceptional experience, RAM Racing engaged EnMotive’s built-in event logistics system. This unique system automates the entire flow from registration to package receipt.

“We’re very happy to have reached a record number of participants in today’s environment,” says Sara Persky, VP of Marketing for RAM Racing. “But more importantly, we’re extremely proud of the funds raised by the participants to support the people in our community who are in need.”
