The event will take place between June 28, 2020 and July 5, 2020 in partnership with Max Performance, New England Endurance Events, Streamline Events and Sun Multisport Events with additional support from local businesses that are part of the New England endurance community. Athletes who choose the Participatory Class will have the option to complete a triathlon consisting of a 400m swim, a 13.1mi bike and a 3.1mi run or a duathlon with a 1.5mi run, 13.1mi bike and a 3.1mi run. Each leg of the multisport event chosen can be completed in the order of the athlete’s choosing all on one day, or over the entire race period of June 28th to July 5th.

Athletes who race in the Competitive Class will complete a 1.5mi run, a 13.1mi bike and then a 3.1mi run in that order starting at 8:00am on Sunday, June 28th with the bike ride taking place through the ZWIFT online virtual platform.

All participants will receive $5 off a future race from each of the participating race directors (total value: $20) plus the option to choose one item from a “Grab Bag” of offers ranging in value from $10 to $50 from local businesses including Fast:Splits, Spark Bike Run Sports, Cycle Life Studio, Sea Sport Cyclery & Outdoor, Zelus Beet, Fit Werx, the Bike Barn and others. The cost of entry is $35.

“With live racing on hold, we wanted to create a regional response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and reached out to four of the best triathlon race directors that I know to make it happen.” says Tim Snow, Training Services Director with QT2 Systems. “I have always been inspired by the quality of the races that they stage for us every year, and thought that, together, we could create a really special virtual event for athletes in the New England-region, and beyond”.
