Pat Casey, Retains Head Coach Position for Upcoming World Triathlon Grand Finals Event

Co-owner of Peak State Fit, Pat Casey is back as Team USA's Head Coach for athletes participating in the World Triathlon Grand Finals happening in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on Nov 23-36, 2022

Salt Lake City, Utah. /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Coach Pat Casey of Salt Lake City is yet again named by USA Triathlon to serve as Team USA’s Head Coach for athletes participating in the 2022 World Triathlon Championships. The event will take place in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on November 23-26, and is expected to cater to more than 5,000 international triathletes as well as 2,500 local triathletes competing across both Elite and Age Group race categories. This will be the first time that the race will be held in UAE’s capital city, with previous hosts comprising venues like London, Budapest, Beijing, Auckland, Chicago, and the Gold Coast.

A USA Triathlon Level 2 Coach, CSCS, and Team USA Age Group Coach, Pat Casey is also the co-owner of Peak State Fit performance center operating in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pat’s background as a Cat 1 cyclist piqued the start of his consulting and coaching career. He uses his skills and knowledge to improve people’s quality of life and realize their athletic potential through training in endurance sports. As a busy athlete and business person, Pat believes in the significance of leading a fit and healthy lifestyle in order to have a balanced approach to life. As of now, Coach Pat Casey is “determined and focused on leading a great Team USA in preparation for Abu Dhabi”.

Coach Pat Casey will lead the USA athletes through course reconnaissance, rules of the event, transition areas, and features of the course athletes should be aware of before racing. This is the fourth World Championship Pat will serve as Head Coach for Team USA.
