Parlee Z-Zero GT. A legend reinvented.
June 20, 2025

For 25 years, the Parlee Z-Zero has been widely regarded as one of the very best road bikes ever made. And now, our flagship bike gets even better with the all-new Parlee Z-Zero GT.
Beverly, MA /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Parlee Z-Series has always been the pinnacle of bicycle craftsmanship, performance, and ride quality. Not just within our brand, either. For 25 years, they’ve been widely regarded as some of the very best road bikes ever made.
And now, our flagship Z-Zero gets even better with the all-new Parlee Z-Zero GT.
The Z-Zero GT is named for legendary Grand Touring cars capable of phenomenal speeds and luxurious comfort, mile after mile.
It’s a fully modern road bike with updated geometry & future-forward compatibility, yet it pays homage to its lineage, carrying over the classic lines esteemed by riders everywhere.
We don’t do cookie cutter.
Our late founder, Bob Parlee, is broadly recognized as one of the most innovative pioneers of carbon fiber bike design.
A Parlee is BUILT. DIFFERENT. Railing against cookie-cutter design and anonymous mass production, Bob’s spirit lives on with the new Z-Zero GT. It’s a 100% new design. A ground up rethink of what a modern road bike should be.
That’s why we designed our own fork, and why we make it in house. It’s why we shaved grams. A lot of grams, actually.
It also clears 40mm tires, fits 1x and 2x drivetrains, supports UDH and uses a titanium T47 bottom bracket.
But those aren’t even the best parts…
Traditional looks, modern aesthetic.
The most unique feature of the new Z-Zero GT is its new head tube, featuring a unique take on fully integrated cockpits.
The new Z-Zero GT’s headtube is incredibly slender, reminiscent of classic road bikes. Yet it hides disc brake lines internally – from levers to calipers, there’s nary a hose in sight.
This is possible thanks to our newly engineered fork. Designed specifically for the GT, its D-shaped steerer tube allows us to run traditional headset sizes and maintain a slimmer, more beautiful head tube that also happens to be more aerodynamic.
And, because fork and frame were designed together, they compliment each other perfectly to continue our legacy of legendary ride quality.
Parlee Z-Zero GT highlights:
Optimized layup
We optimized the carbon lay-up for all-day comfort, race-ready responsiveness, and startling speed. It positively sings on smooth roads, but the frame also soaks up vibrations and lets you explore everything from broken tarmac to farm roads or the occasional trail.
Lighter, stiffer & faster
The new layup is a whopping 187 grams lighter than the prior Z-Zero. A completely new layup and the use of cutting edge new materials let us build a bike that is stiffer and faster than any custom frame we’ve ever produced, whilst reducing weight and maintaining our legendary ride quality. A typical 53cm frame now weighs in at 893g.
We dropped the bottom bracket 10mm, lowering your center of gravity for ultimate stability on descents, and a new, stiffer chainstay module transfers maximum power from the pedals.
Up to 40mm tire clearance
The GT’s frame layup is specifically designed to complement modern tires’ wider, more compliant casings. The combo yields more traction in the corners, better comfort on long rides, and easily adapts to any surface you’re rolling onto.
New Standard + Custom sizing
As always, each and every Z-Zero is handbuilt by artisans in our small shop in Beverly, Massachusetts, USA, just 45 minutes north of Boston.
We’re offering the GT in twelve standard sizes, a first for our top road model. Informed by 25 years of fit data, each of the twelve standard sizes use a unique reference geometry to fit 98% of riders, with your choice of Race or Sport fit. Of course, we still offer full custom geometry, and fit the widest range of riders of any carbon fiber manufacturer in the world.
Built to order
Every Parlee is assembled to order and ships with your own personal combination of crank lengths, stem length, bar width, seatpost setback, and saddle width to ensure the bike meets your every measurement, offering a perfect fit straight out of the box.
20 Standard Colors, Nude or Custom
We’ve designed a unique paint scheme for the GT, available in 20 standard colors, or choose our signature Nude carbon finish to highlight the craftsmanship and save weight.
Our Paint Lab has been designing some of the most incredible bikes for over 20 years. Work with one of our in-house designers to make your wildest dream a reality.
The new Parlee Z-Zero GT is a love letter to the road. It’s not only the fastest Z-Series bike we’ve ever made, it’s also the lightest of its kind.
It’s designed to cover mountains of miles (and miles of mountains!) at high speed and in luxurious comfort. It represents the future of road cycling and our endless urge to explore. Wherever the road may lead, the new Z-Zero GT is the bike to take you there.
