Parcours wheels partner with Crank n’ Chain in Singapore
November 26, 2020
Parcours (https://www.parcours.cc/) have signed a deal with a distribution partner in Singapore - Crank n' Chain (www.cranknchain.com). They will also help to build a B2B network in their region to help distribute the high-performance, but affordable, cycling wheelsets from their Sentosa Cove store.
British wheel brand Parcours will be coming to the Singapore market, working with recently-opened luxury bicycle concept store Crank n’ Chain for local distribution, sales and support. Crank n’ Chain will be featuring Parcours wheels in their Sentosa Cove store, as well as working to build a B2B offering in the region.
Since launching in 2016, Parcours has grown its reputation for offering high-performance wheelsets at an affordable price point. Parcours launched the Strade wheelset in early 2020 to rave reviews from the cycling press. The disc-brake specific Strade features differential front/rear rim profiles, developed in partnership with the Sports Engineering Department at Nottingham Trent University, allowing it to be aerodynamically optimised for a 28mm tyre, whilst also providing class-leading aerodynamics and stability.
Crank n’ Chain is the first ever Bicycle Lifestyle Concept Store on Sentosa, Singapore. It is not your typical “bike shop” with rows and rows of bikes. IT is an experience all its own. It forces you to look at the details, to bring back memories of joy and perhaps envision yourself indulging in luxury riding the urban fabric. Located near the Sentosa Cove Marina, Crank n’ Chain is committed to crafting superior bicycles and timeless accessories.
André Schlieker, owner of Crank n’ Chain says “We are always searching for ambitious brands – as we are – and try to develop a strong client relationship with our partners. With Parcours, we found the perfect partner to provide high-end products for every client. Our main goal is to show our clients the best options and develop new products with Parcours in the future.
Dov Tate, Founder of Parcours says, ‘Singapore has always been at the forefront of cycling technology so it’s a natural market to expand into. Working with Crank n’ Chain will allow us to offer our usual high standards of customer service through a local partner, whilst also helping us to grow our presence in the local market.’
