(Dec. 20, 2019) – The She.is.beautiful and Running USA teams are thrilled to announce a powerful panel of leaders who will be part of the Women’s Networking Event at the 2020 Industry Conference presented by Race Roster.

“We have cultivated a lineup of women speakers from different touch points and backgrounds in our industry. We believe it takes many voices, perspectives, experiences, and conversations shared to inspire growth and courage,” said Melissa McConville. She and her sister Sara Tanza founded She.is.beautiful nine years ago and produce two large events in Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara, Calif., each year. This year, they have generously volunteered to help take the Running USA conference Women’s Networking Event to the next level.

Previous iterations of the event have not included a formal speaker panel or organizational structure.

“These are women in digital platforms, leading race production, starting powerful running community movements, and highlighting stories from potential future customers whose voices aren’t always showcased in the running industry. They will be sharing their challenges, successes, what inspires them to be innovative, and the power of using their voice as a woman in this business.

The panelists, presented by conference title sponsor Race Roster, will be:

Martha Garcia, Global Brand Communications of Hoka One One
Virgina Brophy Achman, Twin Cities in Motion, executive director and Running USA board member
Chantelle Wilder, co-founder and chief operating officer of Race Roster
Alison Desir, founder of Harlem Run, Run4AllWomen, and Global Womxn Run Collective

The Women’s Networking Event is set for Sunday, Feb. 9, the opening day of the 2020 Industry Conference at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Nev. It will begin at 4pm.

“All women who attend the Women’s Networking Event will have an opportunity to share in small groups their own successes, challenges, and goals in their career in 2020. We are excited to come together, to lift each other forward,” McConville said.
