Olympian Launches Cycling Performance and Endurance Sports Philosophy Podcast, Cycling in Alignment with Colby Pearce
July 1, 2020
Boulder, July 1, 2020 — Fast Labs, an endurance sports media company, has launched a new podcast, “Cycling in Alignment” whose guest list includes cycling luminaries, including Jonathan Vaughters, Dr. Allen Lim, and Nathan Haas. The show is the brainchild of Colby Pearce, a U.S. Olympic track cyclist, coach, bike fitter, and world record holder.
Pearces’ repertoire of cycling knowledge spans 30 years, five continents, hundreds of races, and countless miles in the saddle. The minutiae of cycling and riding technique are just part of the story that Pearce shares in this podcast. He also discusses alignment with nature, foundational principles of health, and treating the sport as a practice.
Some of the notable guests of the show include Colby’s lifelong friend, cycling legend Jonathan Vaughters, the current CEO of EF Education First Pro Cycling Team; WorldTour pro and a coaching client of Colby’s, Nathan Haas; and Colby’s former coach, the physiologist and founder of Skratch Labs, Dr. Allen Lim.
Pearce brings decades of practical experience to the show. He has been a Steve Hogg Certified expert bike fitter for the past 10 years, and has worked with elite athletes and WorldTour cycling teams, including EF Education First. He is also an elite coach, having worked with every type of cyclist—from those who have participated in the Tour de France to amateur masters athletes.
About his passion for cycling and his desire to share that wisdom, Pearce says, “I’m extremely passionate about the sport of cycling; it’s my whole life. I feel that I know the limits of the sport in many ways; not just the limits of what you can do on a bike, but the limits of what it does to you as a person.”
“Cycling in Alignment” is available on all major podcast platforms.
