Nominations Open for the Best Running Stores of 2023

Annual awards program to honor leading run specialty stores at The Running Event this November 30 in Austin, TX

PORTLAND, Maine (February 21, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Best Running Stores, the awards program that recognizes and celebrates the best run specialty stores in the US, today announced 2023 nominations are open. The awards reception will be held on the last day of The Running Event (TRE), taking place in Austin, TX, November 28 – 30, 2023.

“As always, we’re excited to open nominations for the Best Running Stores and recognize the retailers who are pushing industry boundaries while setting an example in customer service, employee benefits, community impact, and more,” said Christina Henderson, Event Director, The Running Event. “Each year, the Best Running Stores program reminds us of the critical role these retailers play in driving the run specialty industry forward, and we look forward to honoring them at The Running Event this year. We welcome the entire running community—from retailers and brand personnel to runners and walkers of all levels—to nominate their favorite store.”

Following a rigorous evaluation process, winners will be selected, notified, and announced publicly at the end of July; the Store of the Year will be revealed live during the November 30 reception at The Running Event. All winning stores will receive two free passes to TRE, including accommodations at the host hotel.

All industry professionals, brands, retail customers, and store employees are encouraged to nominate one store that excels for their customer service, community impact, and work to progress the industry. Best Running Stores of 2023 nominations must be submitted by Thursday, March 30.
