National Forest Foundation to Host Live Leadership Discussion in New York City

September 9th Event to Illuminate the Vital Role Forests Play in Carbon Sequestration

Missoula, MT (August 26, 2021) — The National Forest Foundation (NFF), a congressionally-chartered nonprofit, will be hosting Our Forests, Our Future, a live panel discussion with corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) leaders Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at The Union League Club in New York. Our Forests, Our Future begins an urgent conversation about how our National Forests and public lands are critical for addressing climate change.

The panel will be moderated by veteran news correspondent and ABC anchor, Bob Woodruff. Guest speakers will include Karen Fang, Managing Director, Global Head of Sustainable Finance, Bank of America; Jose Minaya, Chief Executive Officer, Nuveen; and Lila Preston, Partner and Head of Growth Equity, Generation Investment Management. The panelists will discuss highlights from their businesses’ ESG strategies and examine the relationship between forests and carbon.
