Mammut And The Lady Alliance Adventure Safety Festival Returns For 2021

April 15, 2021

The Virtual Event For Women+ Demystifies Climbing and Creates Collaborative Conversation Around Safety and Community

Denver, CO. (Apr. 15, 2021) – Mammut, outdoor and mountain safety brand, and The Lady Alliance, a community providing opportunities for women+ to find empowerment through adventure and each other, are continuing their successful virtual Adventure Safety Festival into 2021. The festival offers a chance for women+ to engage with outdoor experts and Mammut athletes in order to learn and share important aspects of outdoor activity.

This year’s virtual event focuses on safety while climbing and will start Thursday April 29 and available to view online through Wednesday May 2. This festival is free for everyone to enjoy and learn together. To join The Lady Alliance community, women+ can visit and sign up at theladyalliance.com.

The 2020 festivals featured experts and athletes such as Mammut pro-athlete Steph Davis, Rocky Mountain Adventure Medicine Inc.’s wilderness first aid instructor, Alanna Thompson, Azzah Ahmad, host of the Az I Know It podcast and partner of The Lady Alliance in the summer, as well as Mammut Safety Collective athletes Elyse Saugstad, Holly Walker and Michelle Parker and Judith Milay from Colour The Trails in the winter.

This year’s first iteration features a similarly veritable pantheon of outdoors mavens, including Mammut climbing athletes Erin Parisi, Emma Contaoe and Rachel Sapp, who will share knowledge on gear lists, packing and approach safety, Leave No Trace and First Aid, including ropes, knots, and self-rescue. These topics will be offered in a tiered approach, from beginner to advanced, for all viewer types and interest levels.

The 2-hour online event will focus on four main components;

  • Backpacking, gear lists and approach safety
  • Leave No Trace practices
  • First aid, ropes, knots, and self-rescue tips
  • Virtual viewing of “Pretty Strong” featuring Katie Lambert

The Lady Alliance x Mammut Adventure Safety event is a 2-hour online experience that launches April 29th at 8:00 am EST on The Lady Alliance TV. Women+ from all over the United States and Canada can tune in to view and engage with skill-building, community focused experiences, including insider tips and tricks from both Mammut and The Lady Alliance athletes and ambassadors.

“The Adventure Safety Festival is an incredibly unique and immersive way to learn, converse, and grow together as a community, and we hope to spread this knowledge and unintimidating approach far and wide, in alignment with our brand mission; to create a world moved by mountains,” said CSR and Marketing Manager Nora Fierman. “Our partnership with The Lady Alliance has transcended beyond events over this past year to include work and conversations with our internal Mammut employees, and we are proud to partner with a team of people who truly value inclusivity, progression and diversity in all aspects of our industry.”

This event is open and free to The Lady Alliance and Mammut communities. To join this event, head to tv.theladyalliance.com and register, or join their community on Instagram (@theladyalliance), facebook (www.facebook.com/theladyalliance) or in their local Facebook chapter to celebrate with women+ from their hometown.
