J&A Racing Names Sentara Foundation As Premier Charity For Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon Weekend

Virginia Beach, VA (May 21, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – J&A Racing is excited to announce that in partnership with the Sentara Foundation, the Dorothy G. Hoefer Breast Center will be the Premier Charity for the annual Sentara Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon Weekend. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, J&A Racing is excited to be ‘Crawlin’ for a Cure,’ with a weekend that is known for its festive atmosphere, which will now directly support compassionate, comprehensive breast care for women across the region.

The new partnership marks a rebranding of the event’s charitable focus, aligning the race’s community spirit with the critical need for advanced breast health services under the “Crawlin’ for a Cure” banner. Contributions will fund state-of-the-art imaging technology, expand access to early detection and diagnostic services, enhance patient navigation programs, and help uninsured and underinsured patients receive timely screenings and treatment.
