September 8, 2020

iFit’s trainer-led, interactive workouts are a standout feature of the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 treadmill

(LOGAN, Utah, September 8, 2020) — iFit, the interactive, connected fitness technology, is the key feature that won the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 treadmill a spot in Runner’s World’s highly sought-after 2020 Fitness and Nutrition Awards, the only piece of cardio equipment recognized.

“Connected fitness is one of the hottest trends in home gym equipment, and of all the treadmills we tested this year, this NordicTrack [Commercial 2950] has some of the nicest features,” Runner’s World said.

iFit’s automatic, hands-free adjustments are a proprietary feature to iFit-enabled NordicTrack treadmills allowing:

  • For a more realistic outdoor experience because iFit technology adjusts the treadmill’s incline and decline to match the natural terrain of the trail during Global Workouts
  • The iFit trainer to adjust the the incline, decline and speed during Studio Workouts, so members experience a well-designed workout that safely and effectively pushes them towards their goals

iFit Global Workouts are shot and produced on location around the globe, allowing for breathtaking scenery and a realistic outdoor running, walking or hiking experience. iFit Studio Workouts provide a boutique workout experience, often combining running with bodyweight and hand weight exercises off the machine. Classes vary in length from 15-120 minutes, and range from beginner to advanced.

iFit’s premier trainers were highlighted by Runner’s World testers in the review.Unlike other connected fitness classes on the market, iFit’s elite trainers include professional marathoners and trail runners — including elite ultra runner Tommy Rivers Puzey and Olympic Marathon qualifier Ashley Paulson— who share their expertise with iFit members throughout the workouts.

Runner’s World also highlighted the “enormous 22-inch touchscreen display” on the NordicTrack Commercial 2950, crediting it for “helping you forget that you’re in your basement.” The display enhances the iFit interactivity features, creating a dynamic experience that allows exercisers to become fully immersed in the workout.

The NordicTrack Commercial 2950 treadmill is available for purchase on the NordicTrack website, Best Buy and Dick’s Sporting Goods and comes with a free one-year iFit membership, a value of $468.
