hDrop Partners with Wahoo to Bring Real-Time Sweat and Hydration Data to ELEMNT Cycling Computers

June 3, 2026

New Wahoo ELEMNT V3 integration enables cyclists to view hDrop’s real-time sweat, sodium loss, and hydration data directly on their head unit during training and racing.

June 3, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – hDrop today announced an upcoming integration with Wahoo ELEMNT GPS cycling computers, following Wahoo’s latest ELEMNT firmware update adding support for next-generation performance sensors. Once available, the integration will enable riders to view live sweat and hydration analysis directly on their head unit for the first time.

The integration is expected to arrive via a Wahoo firmware update rolling out in the coming weeks and will be available at no cost to all current and future Wahoo ELEMNT V3 users — including the Elemnt Bolt 3, Elemnt Roam 3, and Elemnt Ace.

hDrop connects to the ELEMNT via Bluetooth, delivering real-time hydration insights alongside a rider’s existing performance metrics such as power, heart rate, cadence, and speed. The hDrop sensor can be mounted to a standard heart rate chest strap or worn on the upper arm with a bicep strap, making it easy for athletes to add continuous hydration monitoring to their existing setup.

Until now, Wahoo and hDrop users relied primarily on the companion hDrop App to review sweat and hydration data during and post-ride. Once available, this integration will move that information to the handlebar in real time, giving athletes the ability to make in-the-moment decisions about when and how much to drink before dehydration or sodium losses begin to affect performance.

“With this integration, Wahoo users will be able to see hDrop data in real time during their activities, directly on their ELEMNT cycling computer,” said Adria Abella, Co-Founder of hDrop. “We have been working closely with the Wahoo team to make this possible, and we are excited to bring highly accurate, real-time sweat and hydration analytics to more athletes in a way that fits naturally into how they already train and race. Very excited to bring a new data layer to Wahoo’s users.”

The partnership marks a major step forward for real-time hydration monitoring in endurance sports. hDrop being the first of its kind to bring live hydration data directly to Wahoo cycling computers, helping athletes move beyond static hydration plans and toward data-driven, individualized fueling and fluid strategies.

By combining hDrop’s sweat rate and sodium loss analysis with Wahoo’s trusted ELEMNT platform, riders will now access hydration data in the same place they already monitor their ride performance. This makes hydration easier to track, easier to act on, and more directly connected to the demands of each workout or race.

The update is compatible with the following Wahoo ELEMNT V3 devices:

  • ELEMNT BOLT 3
  • ELEMNT ROAM 3
  • ELEMNT ACE

No new head unit is required. Existing ELEMNT V3 owners will receive the update automatically once it goes live.
