Epic Races Announces New Partnership with Puma

February 21, 2023

Ann Arbor, MI (February 21, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Ann Arbor-based race company, Epic Races, today announced global sports brand PUMA as the official running shoe of Epic Races.

PUMA will support Epic Races’ 4 running races: Ann Arbor Goddess Run presented by Ann Arbor Sports Commission, Ann Arbor Firecracker 5K, Probility Ann Arbor Marathon, and Kroger A2 Turkey Trot with pace teams named PUMA Pacers and official Puma training plans.

The PUMA Pacers are a team of 20 experienced runners chosen from a competitive application process, to help race participants meet their goal finish times. They will be at the start line of all races holding signs advertising their target finish times so that participants can run with them and get advice and encouragement along the way.

“I am proud to have been selected as a PUMA Pacer,” says Melissa Marowelli of Saline, Michigan. “When I first started running races, I counted on the pacers to keep me at an even pace and help me set my personal records. I am now able to give back to the running community and share all I have learned and accomplished over the past 10 years. I am grateful to PUMA for their support.”

“I am incredibly proud and excited about this new partnership,” says Eva Solomon, Founder and CEO of Epic Races. “Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world wears PUMA, I look forward to seeing what our athletes can do in PUMA shoes and apparel! All of our pacers will wear high-performance PUMA shoes and apparel that will help them perform their best while looking stylish out on the course.”

The PUMA Pacers will make their debut at The Ann Arbor Goddess Run on April 2, 2023. The start line will be at Fuller Rd. and Fuller Ct. at 8:00 a.m. For more information about The Ann Arbor Goddess Run and all other Epic Races, visit www. epicraces.com.
