Corrected Dates: Jackpot Ultra Running Festival

July 6, 2021

Larger Prize Pool, New Master Division Awards, Expanded Time Limit, 50% Service Discount

HENDERSON, NEVADA – July 6, 2021 – CORRECTED DATES: The 9th Annual Jackpot Ultra Running Festival is now open for discounted early-bird registration. Sin City’s premier endurance running event returns to Cornerstone Park in Southern Nevada February 18-21, 2022 with an increased prize pool, expanded time limits and new master division age group record awards. To celebrate Independence Day and the heroic women and men who have served to defend, preserve and protect our freedoms and keep us safe, all active and retired military, along with active members of police and firefighting forces, will receive an industry-leading 50% off early-bird registration during the month of July.

For the 5th straight year, Jackpot will again feature the USATF’s 100-Mile Road National Championship race, along with 6/12/24/48/72-hour races, a standard 100-mile race and a 50-mile race. Jackpot has become one of the most inclusive, diversified and welcoming short-loop ultras in the country with runners of all abilities competing together. From world and American record holders, to newbies, master division runners, blind runners and adaptive athletes, Jackpot offers the perfect venue, environment and overall vibe for runners to push beyond limits and hit their own personal jackpot.

Stephanie Rubeli, co-founder of Beyond Limits Running and co-race director of Jackpot commented on the enhancements to Jackpot 2022, “After witnessing such gusty performances at Jackpot 2021, we’ve decided to further expand our efforts to recognize and reward both open field elite runners, as well as master division runners. We are increasing the open field podium prize pool for the USATF 100-Mile Road National Championship race from $10,000 to $12,000 and for the first time, anyone who sets an American age group record in the master division (runners who are 50+ years old) of this race, will receive complimentary registration to Jackpot 2023, along with an engraved picture plaque commemorating their record setting achievement. After 4 years of doing our small part to reward the remarkable efforts of elite open field ultra-runners, we decided it’s high-time we recognize seasoned and legendary ultra-runners too.”

With respect to the deep early-bird discount for military, police and firefighting forces, Ken Rubeli, co-founder of Beyond Limits Running and co-race director of Jackpot stated, “With Independence Day just days away, we felt it was a perfect time to loudly thank the women and men who work tirelessly to keep us safe in our daily lives and protect the freedoms we so cherish.”

The 9th Annual Jackpot Ultra Running Festival, which features 8 separate ultra-races, will be held February 18-21, 2022 at Cornerstone Park, a picturesque bird sanctuary lake park owned by the City of Henderson, Jackpot’s 2022 Co-Presenting Sponsor.  Known for its over-the-top fun, Jackpot features the Fabulous Las Vegas Showgirls, Elvis, live entertainment and nightly outdoor movies. Registration is currently open at BeyondLimitsRunning.com.
