Baltimore, MD — February 20, 2023 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ Charm City Run Events announces their newest signature race in partnership with the Al Cesky Scholarship Fund, the ASICS Susquehanna River Running Festival on September 23, 2023. Featuring Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K races, participants will enjoy the small-town hospitality and waterfront views of Havre de Grace and Perryville, Maryland.

“ASICS is thrilled to partner with Charm City Run to present the Susquehanna River Running Festival in beautiful Havre de Grace, Maryland,” said Sean Mannion, Vice President of Sales for ASICS North America. “To be able to partner with one of our top customers in Charm City and bring an amazing experience to runners aligns perfectly with our corporate mission – Sound Mind, Sound Body. We hope to encourage the local community to train together, get outside, and experience an amazing race, which accomplishes our goal of promoting health and movement. Whether enjoying the Half Marathon or 10K that both cross an iconic bridge or bringing the entire family out for a scenic 5K, ASICS and Charm City Run look forward to welcoming runners of all levels to join us for a great race weekend in September.”

The Half-Marathon and 10k courses run over the Hatem Memorial Bridge between Harford and Cecil Counties, an opportunity only available during this event. The 5K course is a flat and fast loop that circles through historic Havre de Grace, a city that dates back to 1785. After the race, Charm City Run will be hosting a post-race celebration at Tydings Memorial Park on the Susquehanna River with live music, beer and food.

“Charm City Run is so excited to partner with the Al Cesky Scholarship Fund to continue the legacy of this amazing running festival,” said Will Murdoch, Director of Events for Charm City Run. “Our partners in Havre de Grace and Perryville roll out the red carpet for our runners and walkers, and we can’t wait to share the beauty and hospitality of these waterfront communities with our friends. With our race premiums from ASICS, finisher medals, and post-race party, this is a celebration folks won’t want to miss.”
