SANTA ROSA, California /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – BUFF®, creator of versatile performance head and neckwear for all-season outdoor enthusiasts, announces the launch of its fall-winter 2022-23 collection. The brand celebrates 30 years of innovation, incorporating two new eco-friendly materials into its collection: PrimaLoft® Bio™ Fleece, a 100-percent recycled synthetic fiber made from recycled water bottles, and Merino Move, multifunctional neckwear and beanies made from responsibly sourced merino wool.
“From day one, innovation was woven into the fabric of our brand. Pushing further, building better, and designing cleaner, has allowed us to grow into a brand that has helped millions of people live more outdoor moments,” said Thierry Peuchot, Chief Consumer Officer at BUFF. “As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we renew our commitment to choosing the responsible path and are excited to launch our most sustainable collection yet.”
90-percent of BUFF products are made in-house in Barcelona, allowing for higher quality control and environmental production standards. Additionally, the BUFF factory is powered by 100-percent renewable energy. New key styles include:
The brand’s most versatile multifunctional neckwear for cold weather is now made from 97-percent recycled materials (recycled plastic bottles) offering lofted warmth with PrimaLoft® Bio™ Fleece. Features: four-way ultra stretch, UPF 50 sun protection, thermal insulation, moisture management and quick-drying. Polar collection styles include the classic Polar neck tube, reversible neck tube, neck warmer and windproof neck tube.
Niels Knitted Beanies and Headbands
New this fall, the Niels knitted beanie is a soft, retro-style, single-cuffed beanie, offered in five different colorways. Niels jersey headbands use the same soft, recycled materials and are offered in three colorways. Both styles are made from 95-percent recycled polyester and 5-percent elastane.
Hidden Gems Collection
Made from 95-percent recycled materials, this season’s Original EcoStretch artist collaboration features Canadian artist, Hayley Stewart’s “Hidden Gems Collection.” The series celebrates winter and the sense of wonder and awe inspired by snowy peaks, mountains and trees. It is a call to action to protect these precious landscapes.
BUFF’s new Merino Move collection offers multifunctional neckwear and beanies that are made from super soft, responsibly-sourced merino wool. Fun, eye catching color blocked combinations are fashion-forward and keep you cozy from street to summit. The opening on the neck tube is wider than classic styles, allowing it to double as a scarf. Features: humanely sourced from non-mulesed sheep, naturally odor resistant and temperature regulating.
