This year’s edition of the largest 100 miler in Texas will take place on December 4-5th in Brazos Bend State Park in Needville, TX. Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run is the world’s oldest 100-mile trail race and attracts participants from all over the world.
“We are so happy to announce that Brazos Bend 100 is back,” said Trail Racing Over Texas Race Director Robert Goyen. “We will be putting on a great race for everyone with dreams of racing for a national championship, qualifying for the Western States lottery, or running their first ultramarathon.”
The Brazos Bend 100, profiled in the 2016 short film Texas Trail Blazer, is one of the fastest 100 mile trail races in America. Since its first running, this race has been a destination for athletes in Texas and across the country. As with all TROT events, Brazos Bend will employ strict COVID-19 public health guidelines to keep event participants and spectators safe during these uncertain times.
The 2021 edition of the Brazos Bend 100 will be limited to only 900 participants and will sell out. Athletes are encouraged to register early to lock in their spot at the starting line.
