BibRave Scores Big with the 2023 San Francisco Giant Race Presented by Alaska Airlines

BibRave’s marketing strategy contributed to an overall collaboration that saw the largest participant field since 2019

Honolulu, HI/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – BibRave, the leading-edge endurance and fitness marketing agency, partnered for the second year with Giants Enterprises, the entrepreneurial arm of the San Francisco Giants Major League Baseball franchise, to provide marketing services for the 14th annual San Francisco Giant Race presented by Alaska Airlines. This collaboration resulted in the event hosting over 6,000 runners, walkers, and families at Oracle Park over the Labor Day weekend, marking a remarkable 20% year-over-year growth.

BibRave collaborated with the Giants Enterprises marketing team to provide a comprehensive email strategy and execution, including full email journeys and targeted segmentations; coordinated outreach to local running communities; and developed social media toolkits for ambassadors and other race partners. Additionally, BibRave executed all paid social media campaigns, skillfully analyzing audience targeting and budgeting to deliver optimal results. These efforts were paired with innovative race event elements and marketing activations like Giant Race “teams” where runners could build teams of 9 to take on the course. One of those teams notably being the first-ever all-female running team to participate in the event, the Alaska Airlines All-Stars, captained by three-time Olympian, Shannon Rowbury, and joined by amazing athletes, Alexis Pappas, Analysia Montano, Anna Kacius, Clara Peterson, Dena Evans, Kim Conley, Leslie Osborne, and Vanessa Fraser. Giants Enterprises leveraged BibRave’s expertise through a flexible retainer-based model.
