BibRave Drives Sell-Out Numbers for the Inaugural Pacific Beach Half Marathon & 5K

(SDRC) to provide comprehensive marketing services for the Pacific Beach Half Marathon & 5K. BibRave provided branding ideation and complete digital media management strategy and services leading to sell-out registrations for both events.
SDRC is a staple of the San Diego running community, offering a number of races throughout the year including the San Diego Resolution Run, San Diego Leprechaun Run, America’s Finest Corporate Dash 5K, the Balboa Park 8-Miler hosted by the San Diego Track Club, and the San Diego Santa Run. With the Pacific Beach 5K celebrating its 10th year, SDRC added the Pacific Beach Half Marathon to the line-up for 2022 to broaden the race experience for participants.

BibRave developed and executed a digital marketing campaign to promote the inaugural Pacific Beach Half Marathon event and celebrate the 10th year of the Pacific Beach 5K. The creative branding campaign featured beach-inspired digital content in email and on social media and then came to life on race day with signage and post-race props that provided playful, engaging photo opportunities for participants.

The Pacific Beach Half Marathon & 5K was held on October 1, 2022 in San Diego, California. The event was a smashing success, selling out even in a year of tumultuous and tentative race registrations.
