BibRave Creates Robust, Bespoke Content Series for the IMT Des Moines Marathon

The Run Iowa content series features monthly Facebook Live events accompanied by digital assets for participants.
Portland, OR – BibRave, the running industry leader in grassroots digital marketing, partnered with the IMT Des Moines Marathon to create the Run Iowa content series to increase engagement with runners and bring added value to sponsors. The Run Iowa content series will produce content for 5 months and includes live virtual events, interactive participant assets and activations, and a comprehensive digital marketing plan.
“This past year taught us that the connection to the running community is more important than ever,” said Chris Burch, Race Director for the IMT Des Moines Marathon. “We’re thrilled to work with BibRave to bring our running community engaging content that celebrates both our virtual and in-person runners from the first day of training right through to the finish line.”
The Run Iowa content series began in June to coincide with the training kickoff for the IMT Des Moines Marathon. The series launched with a Facebook Live “Coach’s Corner” featuring legendary runner Jeff Galloway and nutritionist and personal trainer Carissa Galloway. The Galloways answered runner-submitted questions regarding training and nutrition as well as course information that is specific to Des Moines. The race also released custom training plans that participants could easily upload to their personal Google calendars.
On July 22nd, the IMT Des Moines Marathon will host the Ultimate Summer BBQ on Facebook Live featuring sponsors Boston BeerCompany and the Iowa Pork Producers. This event will bring runners fun and seasonal tips and tricks about beer tasting, beer pairings, and recipes customized to support the nutritional needs of runners.
