Beti Bike Bash p/b Yeti Cycles Announces Toyota as Official Sponsor

September 16, 2021

EVERGREEN, COLO, Sept 16, 2021 – The Beti Bike Bash p/b Yeti Cycles, to be held on October 3rd in Lakewood, CO, proudly announces Toyota as a returning official sponsor. Toyota has continued to show its dedication to the community through supporting women’s specific events, including the Beti Bike Bash.

Through its “Start Your Impossible” campaign (starting in 2018), Toyota has been highlighting stories of Olympic and Paralympic athletes as well as everyday athletes who demonstrate the values of humility, hard work and never giving up. The campaign marks Toyota’s long-term commitment to support the creation of a more inclusive and sustainable society in which everyone can challenge their impossible through stories of determination.

“Having previously partnered with Beti Bike Bash, we have seen the excitement, camaraderie, and incredible amount of community support this event has brought to riders. We are elated to be an official sponsor for the 2021 rendition of the Beti Bike Bash and look forward to this year’s event,” says Deck Hughes – President of the Denver Toyota Dealers Association.

Race director, Natalie Raborn adds, “We are thrilled to again partner with Toyota again in 2021. Toyota has been a long-standing sponsor and partner of the Beti Bike Bash and it is clear they recognize the value in supporting this event, but also the importance of continuing to get more women and girls on bikes. We couldn’t be happier to be aligned with what Toyota stands for. Part of Toyota’s global mission is to enrich lives, set challenging goals, invest in the future, and exceed expectations. On a much smaller scale, this is exactly what we aim to do as well.”

The nation’s largest women’s-only mountain bike race, produced by Team Evergreen, has been going strong since 2010. The event prides itself on bringing together the cycling community in a unique and supporting environment. This is exemplified by categories such as ‘7 and Under’, ‘New Moms’, ‘Never-Evers’, all the way to seasoned professionals.

In addition to the race, first-time and beginner riders can develop their skills at the VIDA MTB Series race-specific clinic on Saturday, October 2nd. Attendees will learn proper body positioning, race etiquette, and technique in an ever-encouraging atmosphere, leaving them with increased rider confidence.

Also back for 2021 is the Little Bellas two-day clinic. Designed to get girls hooked on the sport, the Little Bellas focus on improving skills and having fun. It’s a great opportunity for girls looking to try out mountain biking and for those who are ready for the next level of challenge.

Additional key sponsors of this year’s event are Yeti Cycles, TwinSix, Finish Line USA, Elevation Cycles, Wahoo Fish Tacos, UplandStoke, and Denver Beer Company.

Registration for the 2021 Beti Bike Bash and its ancillary events remains open until September 30th or until the event sells out. Registration includes the race entry, TwinSix t-shirt, finisher socks, lunch, and a challenging, competitive-but-friendly race environment.
