Believe in the Run Opens New Headquarters, Launch Party Sponsored By ASICS and Super Coffee

July 20, 2021

BALTIMORE, Md. – Believe in the Run, a media company centered on run and run culture, held its headquarters launch party on July 10, celebrating the opening of its new Baltimore location. The event was attended by nearly 300 runners and featured shoe demos and giveaways from event sponsor ASICS, as well as a 5K fun run along the beautiful waterfront of Fells Point and Harbor East. A highlight reel of the event can be viewed on Believe in the Run’s YouTube channel.

“We could not have asked for a better turnout for the day. The whole Believe in the Run team was thrilled to celebrate the new headquarters with the running community who showed up from all around the country,” said Thomas Neuberger, Co-Founder of Believe in the Run. “It was a good day for Baltimore and Believe in the Run.”

The new headquarters features office space, video and podcasting studios, and a main gathering room with an open floor plan and ample shelf space for product and/or displays. Located in the heart of historic Fells Point, the brick-fronted space is ideal for pop-up shops or running events that seek to highlight the vibrant and often overlooked run culture in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Prior to and during the 5K run, attendees were able to wear-test ASICS footwear, including the Metaspeed Sky, Novablast 2, and Magic Speed.

ASICS also provided free, on-demand t-shirt printing featuring a custom design for the event. Custom event pint glasses were also available for a donation, with all proceeds benefiting The Donna Foundation, a non-profit organization providing relief to families living with breast cancer, in addition to helping fund research at the Mayo Clinic.

Additional event sponsors included Super Coffee and Mobtown Brewing, providing all-natural coffee beverages and craft beer brewed in Baltimore, respectively. Cocina Luchadoras provided tacos, tamales, and fresh fruit popsicles.

“We feel like we have something new and special to offer the running scene. Our space has the soul of your favorite skateboard or record shop with a modern twist on running and content creation. Of course, there’s nothing like a morning run around the Inner Harbor as well,” said Neuberger. “We’re excited for the future – this is just the first of many collaborative efforts that will bring the run community together.”
