ATHLOS women-only track event is going global with a second meet in London this fall

After two successful years elevating women’s track and field by increasing visibility and prize money, ATHLOS is upgrading. With the addition of a second meet, the series promises a total prize purse of US$2.1 million in 2026, a significant increase from last year’s US$773,500. Athletes will be eligible to earn up to US$155,000, based on their cumulative points across both meetas.
Ohanian is not stopping at the prize purse. He has promised an equity stake to every athlete who competes at the meetings; if ATHLOS continues its success, the women competing will share in the glory. CANADIAN Running Magazine
