Annapolis Running Festival Returns for Fourth Year on March 21st
March 18, 2026

Annapolis, MD (March 18, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — Corrigan Sports’s Annapolis Running Festival is set to return for its fourth consecutive year on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This year’s event welcomes Kaiser Permanente as the new title sponsor, reinforcing a shared commitment to health and wellness in the region.
All races (Half Marathon, 10k & 5K) begin and end at the iconic Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and include a memorable stretch down Main Street through historic downtown Annapolis. Over 4,000 total participants are expected.
Following the race, participants and spectators are invited to celebrate at the lively Celebration Village, featuring live music, local vendors, and post-race refreshments, which is open to the public. This year, runners will be treated to Crab Soup and Shrimp at the Finish line party.
A highlight of the event is the return of the popular “Charity Chaser.” Annapolis Detective Courtney Moore will once again start the Half Marathon as the final runner, chasing the field. For every participant passed, Corrigan Sports Enterprises will donate $4 to the Annapolis Police Foundation. In 2025, Moore passed enough runners to raise $2,592 for the organization.
The event also benefits Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails, which works year-round to maintain and improve local trail systems, as well as the Anne Arundel County Police Reserves, who support the Anne Arundel County Police Department at special events throughout the year.
Additionally, on behalf of title sponsor Kaiser Permanente, the event will contribute to Black Girls Run, supporting the organization’s mission to encourage and empower women of color to prioritize their health through running.
Lastly, Corrigan Sports will be building in various America 250-year birthday celebration elements to race day, including a large American flag, USA 250 road stencil, National Guard presence, Sparklers at start, and more.
