Targeting New Triathletes
Daytona Beach, FL. (January 29, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – In an effort to further embrace the increased participation from younger multisport athletes, CLASH Endurance is excited to announce the launch of “From Zero to Tri.” A program for beginners to learn one-on-one from professionals, Olympians and industry insiders designed to equip participants with successful strategies and valuable guidance ensuring a strong finish. All “From Zero to Tri” athletes will see empowering race day benefits including dedicated start time, designated bike racks, customized race day gear and branded swag.
Bill Christy, CEO of CLASH Endurance and veteran triathlete says, “On the heels of a successful pilot at CLASH Endurance Daytona last month, we are thrilled to officially debut “From Zero to Tri,” welcoming new athletes to our sport. There’s clear data showing younger generations leaning into triathlon and the more we support their participation, the greater benefit and growth within the industry. We hope other event organizers will further this initiative.”
The first “From Zero to Tri” program kicks off Feb. 1 for those training for the inaugural CLASH Endurance Coastal Mississippi event and more race options will follow. For just $18 plus race entry fee, registrants will learn from a rotating roster of some of the sport’s best such as U.S. Olympian, Jarrod Shoemaker; former professional and Ironman Champion Lisa Roberts and current Canadian professional, Sarah Bonner; in addition to experienced TriDot coaches. Virtual pre-race Q+A sessions covering topics including equipment, fueling, nutrition, hydration, the course, and transition will be covered in addition to community forums for camaraderie. Come race day, these experts will be on hand for last-minute needs leading to a more fun and empowering swim/bike/run experience!
“We believe that triathlon is done better through community – especially for first timers,” said Dan Caskie, Director of Growth Programs at TriDot, CLASH Endurance’s Official Training Partner. “TriDot coaches will support all ‘From Zero to Tri’ athletes through online preparation sessions to help them understand what to expect and build confidence. We want these newbies to feel supported from sign up through their finish line celebration.”
Space will be limited to this unique opportunity to ensure personalized experiences and quality.
