Inaugural Oceania Gravel Championships to be Held at RADL GRVL in Adelaide, January 2026

Adelaide, Australia (December 1, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — The Oceania Cycling Confederation (OCC) is proud to announce that the inaugural Oceania Gravel Championships will debut in Adelaide, Australia, as part of RADL GRVL presented by Quad Lock on Friday, 23 January 2026.
The new Championships mark a significant milestone in the continued growth of cycling across the Oceania region. In 2026, nine Oceania Championship events will be staged across Australia and New Zealand, spanning track, road, mountain bike, BMX, para-cycling, and now gravel.
Oceania Champions will be crowned in South Australia to Elite athletes and across age-group brackets: U19, 19–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74 and 75–79. Winners in each category will automatically qualify for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, to be held in Nannup, Western Australia, on 10–11 October.
Founded in 2023 by GRVL® CEO and former professional racer Amy Charity, F1 superstar Valtteri Bottas, and Adelaide native and professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, RADL GRVL presented by Quad Lock has rapidly grown in partnership with the Santos Tour Down Under. Now in its third year, the event attracts hundreds of professional and amateur riders from more than a dozen countries eager to experience the spectacular gravel routes of South Australia.
