Registration for Little Rock Marathon Weekend races now open

LITTLE ROCK, ARK (July 16, 2025) ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Registration for Little Rock Marathon Race Weekend races and the 2026 Run Local Race Series is now open at the event’s website, www.littlerockmarathon.com, race officials said Wednesday.
The 2026 Little Rock Marathon Race Weekend will be February 27 – March 1, 2026. Registration for the full marathon is $95, with half marathon registration starting at $85. Prices for each of the weekend’s events will go up incrementally until they reach either full price or until the race sells out.
Online registration for the Little Rock Marathon will close at 11:59 pm on February 20, 2026. If space is available, athletes may register at the Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, February 27, 2026 – but Executive Director Geneva Lamm noted that late registration for any race is not guaranteed. Late registration will only resume for races not sold out.
The Little Rock Marathon and the Little Rock Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, while the Little Rock 10k, the Little Rock 5K, presented by Arkansas Federal Credit Union, the Little Rockers Kids Marathon Final Mile and the All Abilities Mile will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026.
On Race Weekend, athletes participating in the 5K, 10K, Little Rock Marathon and the Little Rock Half Marathon will all start at 7:00 am. Athletes needing a bit more time for the Marathon can apply for a 5:00 am early start on Sunday.
Individuals interested in participating in the Run Local Series must register for all three events at the same time to be eligible to receive the special Run Local medal at the Little Rock Marathon in March. Registering for each event separately does not automatically enter you into the series. There is no extra charge to be part of the series.
Athletes can earn the medal by finishing a race in each of the following events:
- Creep N’ Crawl (5k, Half Marathon) – October 18, 2025
- Ugly Sweater Race (5k) – December 20, 2025
- A race on Saturday or Sunday of Marathon weekend – February 27-March 1, 2026
Participation in the Run Local series is limited to the first 500 people who register for all three events.

The Little Rock Marathon’s Training Program, presented by Rock City Running, kicks off in a few weeks with a Build Up’ program. The training program, led by long time Little Rock Marathon Coaches Hobbit and Tom Singleton, is free and is open to the public.
