June 23, 2025

June 23, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Ultra X, the global ultra marathon series known for creating life-changing running experiences in the world’s most remote and beautiful locations, is proud to announce a new partnership with the Brett Torino Foundation (BTF) for its flagship U.S. event: Ultra X Nevada.

This collaboration brings together two organizations passionate about the outdoors, environmental stewardship, and showcasing the beauty of the Spring Mountains and Southern Nevada landscape. With just under six months to go until the 2025 edition, this partnership will amplify awareness of Ultra X Nevada and shine a spotlight on Lovell Canyon, home to both the race and critical conservation efforts.

Taking place in the rugged wilderness outside Las Vegas, Ultra X Nevada is a five-day multi-stage 220km ultra marathon between 20th and 24th October designed to challenge athletes both physically and mentally, while immersing them in one of the country’s most dramatic desert landscapes. Registration is currently open and further information about the event is available here: https://ultra-x.co/nevada/

As part of the partnership:

  • A co-branded media campaign will spotlight both the event and Brett Torino Foundation’s work, highlighting stories from the trail and the environmental efforts that protect this land.
  • The event will be hosted at the Torino Ranch and Brett Torino Foundation will have an on-site presence at the event, engaging with participants and sharing its mission to preserve and protect Nevada’s natural heritage.
  • The 5th and final stage of the event is open to the public and will finish at Blue Diamond, where athletes will be greeted at the finish line with a celebration with local outdoors enthusiasts, held in partnership with Friends of Red Rock Canyon and Brett Torino Foundation. Further information about this stage will be announced in due course. Organizations interested in partnering on this stage should reach out directly to Ultra X via the media contact below.
  • Discounted entries will be made available to supported participants or groups through the Foundation, making the event more accessible and inclusive.

“Ultra X is more than just a race, it’s a celebration of landscapes, resilience, and human connection,” said Sam Heward, Co-Founder of Ultra X. “Partnering with the Brett Torino Foundation allows us to give back to the land that hosts us and to amplify the importance of protecting and sharing these incredible places. Brett’s mission and ours are completely aligned”

“For over 30 years, the Brett Torino Foundation has been dedicated to restoring and protecting Lovell Canyon and the Spring Mountain area—a place that holds deep meaning for me and for our community,” said Brett Torino, Founder, Brett Torino Foundation.“Partnering with Ultra X Nevada is a natural extension of that legacy. Together, we’re not just celebrating endurance and adventure—we’re honoring the land, it’s history, and the power of collective stewardship to keep it thriving for generations to come
