2XU renews its title sponsorship of the 2026 Long Beach Marathon and exclusive compression technology partnership across 11 Motiv North America events - kicking off the season with a Global Running Day community celebration and the launch of the Kinesis Tight, its most advanced compression yet

LONG BEACH, Calif. (June 1, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ 2XU will kick off the 2026 2XU Long Beach Marathon training season on Global Running Day, June 3, with a community event at Sports Basement Long Beach. Open to runners of all levels, the celebration will unite local athletes, ambassadors, and the broader endurance community around the start of marathon training season, and the launch of 2XU’s new Kinesis Tight. Built on 2XU’s MCS (Muscle Containment Stamping) technology, the Kinesis Tight is engineered to target key muscle groups, reduce vibration and fatigue, and accelerate recovery from the first stride to the final mile. Attendees who RSVP will be entered for a chance to win a pair of Kinesis Tights; connecting the community kickoff directly to 2XU’s continued push at the frontier of performance compression.

The Global Running Day event coincides with the renewal of 2XU and Motiv Sports’ partnership, with 2XU returning as Title Sponsor of the 2026 Long Beach Marathon and retaining its position as Exclusive Compression Technology Partner across all 11 Motiv endurance events. Now in its second year, the partnership enables more than 150,000 runners annually across the race series to access the words best compression gear and reflects the brand’s accelerating North American growth strategy. The 42nd edition of the 2XU Long Beach Marathon will take place Oct. 9–11, 2026, in Long Beach, Calif. Now in its 42nd year, the event runs a fast, flat, oceanfront course past landmarks including the Queen Mary, Shoreline Village, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. After selling out in 2025 with more than 25,000 participants, the 2026 race weekend is expected to host nearly 28,000 runners; one of the largest fields in the event’s history.
