2023 Latin America IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 Race Schedule Offers Vibrant and Diverse Race Experiences

(March 9, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ IRONMAN’s Latin America (LATAM) race calendar brings the excitement and spectacle of IRONMAN®, IRONMAN 70.3®, and 5150™ racing to some of the most beautiful host communities across South America, the Caribbean and Mexico. The IRONMAN Latin America Series schedule features two stops in 2023 in North and South America: Itaú BBA IRONMAN Brazil hosted in Florianópolis, which boasts world-class entertainment, beaches and restaurants across its sun-soaked stretches of coastline, this race offers a fast and scenic course which has been attracting athletes from all over the world for more than 22 years; and the Mazda IRONMAN Cozumel, hosted on the Island of Cozumel, is not only a beach-goer’s paradise, but it’s also a seasoned IRONMAN community entering its 15th year of racing. The area has over 14 miles of reefs for exploring, plus archaeological ruins, a national park, and endless expanses of turquoise water and white sandy beaches- the perfect course for athletes looking for a personal best time.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Latin America race schedule offers a variety of beautiful host communities across South America, the Caribbean and Mexico. In Brazil, athletes will find vibrant Brazilian culture, spectacular beaches, and tropical weather featured with IRONMAN 70.3 Fortaleza and IRONMAN 70.3 São Paulo. Athletes will experience unique mountain landscapes, pristine lakes and charming Argentinian community in the Remax IRONMAN 70.3 San Juan triathlon. Inside Mexico’s second largest city, Macroplaza, one of the largest plazas in the world is the setting for Mazda IRONMAN 70.3 Monterrey presented by Innovasport. Finally, in the Caribbean, while athletes can also choose a sun-kissed paradise offering vibrant cultural experience, food for the soul, and a captivating rhythm at the IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico presented by Discover Puerto Rico. Panoramic views of Panamá City and the iconic Panamá Canal staged by the Puente de las Americas Bridge round out the series at the IRONMAN 70.3 Panamá Latin America Triclub Championship presented by Heineken 0.0.
