The 26th edition of the Surf City Marathon and Half Marathon will welcome thousands of runners to Huntington Beach on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

The Surf City Marathon is a world-class destination event with the expo, start line and finish line festival all taking place just steps away from the sand and oceanfront resorts. The race starts along the Pacific Coast Highway and passes by the famous Huntington Beach pier. Runners come from around the world to experience this exhilarating run. The award-winning, Boston-Qualifying, course is considered one of the best courses in the country and is well known for being scenic and flat.

Marathon weekend features two days of running with a Beach Mile race on the sand on Saturday morning. The main event begins on Sunday with the marathon, half-marathon and 5k, where runners enjoy one of the most scenic courses in the United States. Event weekend concludes with a finish line festival and beer garden.
