Virtual Race by Tour des Stations on ROUVY – Experience The Col de la Croix-de-Coeur, a Unique Climb in the heart of The Swiss Alps from Home

Granges, Switzerland - The Tour des Stations, is ready to come back to your home and make you sweat with a one day race on Saturday, 20th February at 10 a.m. CET.

From January 18th to February 14th, The Tour des Stations Challenge on ROUVY reunited 5,700 athletes from all over the world to ride 5 of the most beautiful climbs of this famous cyclosportive. After this great challenge, a poll was conducted to choose one of the 5 climbs to be the one selected for the race day. The verdict is in: the Col de la Croix de Coeur (20.8m and 1100mD+), was chosen by the Tour des Stations loyal riders. This Saturday the race will start at Nendaz through the legendary climb between asphalt and gravel, all the way to the highest point of the Col de la Croix de Cœur at 2,174m. Thrill is guaranteed in front of the exceptional panorama of the Combins massif and The Mont-Blanc at the arrival. The global community of cycling enthusiasts and pros are invited to ride along from their homes, virtually. Guillaume Bourgeois, the last winner of the Tour des Stations Ultrafondo 2020, is ready to start the challenge and will be at the start of the race on Saturday.

At the end of the race, a draw will be held to determine the winners of the 3 following prizes for Men and Women:

  • The new Tissot T-Touch
  • A Specialized helmet SW Evade
  • A Tour des Stations jacket + polos + subscription for 2021 race

People need to move and to set goals to move forward. Cyclists of all levels are welcome to join. The requirements are plain and simple: a smart trainer and a compatible computer device to run the ROUVY’s Augmented Reality app.

About Tour des Stations

The Tour des Stations has already established itself as one of the most-awaited European cyclosportives of the summer calendar with just three editions. With 50% of  international participants spanning 32 countries, the challenge reunites cyclists from all around the world towards a common goal of pushing their limits, together on the same road.

On the 7th of August 2021, participants will cross between three to thirteen stations, as per the distance chosen (242km, 133km, 74km or 34km) and tackle  a positive altitude difference varying from 1,950m to 8,848m.
