Velo Releases Limited Edition Saddle Colorways

September 29, 2020

September 29, 2020: Based on early successes of the Senso Ray saddle, Velo is launching three limited edition colorways this fall of their newest saddle. The Senso Ray was launched earlier this year and will be available in a marbled red, marbled silver and an oil slick option. Velo’s flagship Angel TT saddle and Angel TT Women’s saddle also get the oil slick treatment, too.

“Contact points like saddles, bar tape and grips like we make at Velo are great ways to add a pop of color to any bike,” said Ken Yamakoshi, North American Brand Manager for Velo. “The Senso Ray is a high value saddle with premium features like ti/alloy rails, a snub nose design and full length relief channel for under $100, it’s easy to see why it’s gained traction quickly.”

The Senso Ray is 242mm long and available in a 143mm width with Ti/Alloy Rails. It weighs 242 grams and is also available in a black/gray option in addition to the new colors. Retail pricing is $85 – $95. . The red and silver designs are officially known as Red Tiger and Silver Tiger as the design is a collage of tiger faces. The Ray offers a high level of support from its ti-alloy rails, solid base and a full length relief channel.

The Angel TT and Angel TT Women’s saddle features Velo’s patented Y-Cutout for optimal pressure relief for those long days on the road or gravel. The multi-density material offers consistent support under varying temperatures and riding conditions. The Angel TT oil slick option is 241mm long and comes in 143mm width in ti/alloy rails (185 grams). A carbon rail version (155 grams) is also available in black, white or silver colorways.  Retail pricing is $198 and $290 respectively.

In keeping true to the idea of finding ways to add color to bike builds, Velo is also offering a matching oil slick elastic bar wrap to the Senso Ray and Angel TT oil slick saddles, which retails for $29.

The new saddle colorways and bar wrap are available now from www.velosaddles.us and retailers can also order by contacting Yamakoshi directly: ken@velosaddles.us or 888-275-2129.
