Triathlete’s New Editor-in-Chief: Allow Me To (Re-)Introduce Myself

Chris Foster accepted the role of editor-in-chief of Triathlete magazine.

A familiar face with a fancy new hyphenated title, Triathlete’s incoming editor-in-chief Chris Foster talks about where he’s been, what he’s doing, and where we’re going.

Chris graduated from Penn State with a degree in journalism and a minor in statistics–where he also ran track and cross country. He competed as a pro triathlete on the ITU (now WTS) circuit, injured himself (repeatedly) on the XTERRA tour, and then spent the last five years doing his dream job. What’s that? He does many of Triathlete’s gear reviews. This means his job is often to play with swim, bike, and run toys all day and then tell readers about them. Triathlete
