Topeak Partners with Toolbox Wars for Instagram Holiday Giveaway
December 22, 2020
TAICHUNG CITY, TAIWAN (December 22, 2020) —The tool battle is on! Hoping to share some bike-mechanic-joy this holiday week, Topeak is partnering with Instagram’s ToolWars to give away a Topeak D-Torq Wrench to one lucky fan.
With 20,000 followers and growing, the @toolboxwars instagram page is the place where bike mechanics from around the world geek out on tools and quite literally share their toolboxes.
But bike tools and accessories manufacturer, Topeak, believes that no toolbox is truly complete without their award-winning Topeak D-Torq Wrench, so they’re giving one away as part of their #MERRYFANMAS instagram campaign.
Trusted by professional and home mechanics alike, the D-Torq Wrench features a standard hex drive reversible ratcheting head, tools bits, a digital readout with audible warnings, and can measure torque in 4 units.
Those wishing to enter the giveaway simply need to follow Toolbox Wars and Topeak on Instagram, then tag a buddy/engage in the related posts on the Toolbox Wars IG channel. The contest will be held exclusively on Instagram, December 22 – 28th, and the winner announced on the 29th.
The award-winning designers and engineers at Topeak have been creating sophisticated, functional (yet stylish) bicycle accessories to the cycling community for over 27 years. They continue to refine and expand their product line with a rigorous attention to detail, which allows the cyclist to focus on what’s really important: the ride.
ABOUT TOOLBOX WARS
“Toolbox Wars” started with an Instagram hashtag created by world-class mountain biker and professional bicycle mechanic Collin Bailey. Bailey merely meant to poke a bit of fun at World Cup mechanics who used very detailed travel cases to get their tools from point A to point B safely. Lifelong “cycling nuts” and mechanic Tim Travis took it a step further, creating the @toolboxwards account to pit these toolboxes (and their owners) against one another in unofficial championships. Today, the account shares the tools and set-ups from bike mechanics around the world and has become a hub of some 20,000 followers who share Travis’ love for beautifully designed and cleverly laid out tools and toolboxes.
