/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The California International Marathon is already known to provide an amazing athlete experience, with a fast, gently rolling downhill course and they look to take the athlete experience to the next level by partnering with MarathonFoto. When runners toe the line on December 4th, in Sacramento, MarathonFoto will be there to capture the achievements of all the athletes. MarathonFoto will provide participants of the California International Marathon with a selection of compelling photo options. MarathonFoto has been the trusted industry leader to bring great photo opportunities to athletes for over 45 years. MarathonFoto previously partnered with The Sacramento Running Association from 1991-2002. This partnership will create a great customer experience for the 10,000 athletes participating annually in The California International Marathon.

The California International Marathon (CIM), is a marathon organized by runners, for runners! CIM was founded in 1983 by the Sacramento Running Association (SRA). The same route SRA management created for the 1983 inaugural CIM will take you through the rural country side then through the towns of Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks and Carmichael and finally under a canopy of trees in full fall colors, into the city of Sacramento for the State Captitol finish. Even though the course remained the same, the race has grown into a true international event. CIM has a gently rolling, point-to-point, net downhill course with well-maintained streets and few turns. CIM start is at 366 ft. elevation and its finish at a 26 ft. elevation.
