May 1, 2025

Baton Rouge, LA (May 1, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Our Lady of the Lake Tiger10K is back for its 7th year, offering a unique race into Death Valley. The event has attracted over 4,000 participants from 34 states, Canada, Costa Rica and the Federated States of Micronesia.

In addition to the signature 10K, the event features a 5K option, following a similar scenic route and culminating in a stadium finish. Aspiring young athletes (ages 3-12) can participate in the Tiger Kids Mile, offering a fun and engaging experience for the next generation of runners.

The Tiger10K course converges with the 5K course on West Lakeshore Drive, leading runners past notable campus landmarks including Dalrymple Drive, the LSU Law Center, the Student Union and Parade Grounds, the iconic Bell Tower, and Powerhouse Lane. The final stretch will take participants down Field House Drive, providing the exhilarating experience of finishing on the 50-yard line and celebrating with the traditional “WIN” bar slap.

Following the races, participants and spectators are invited to a vibrant post-race celebration in Lot 401 featuring live music from The Sundowners, refreshing cold beer, and a variety of food options, creating a fabulous post-race experience.

“The Tiger 10K promises to be an exceptional event, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant LSU campus while pursuing their fitness goals. The culmination of the race, finishing inside the iconic Tiger Stadium, provides an unparalleled and memorable experience for all involved. We eagerly anticipate welcoming runners and showcasing the spirit of LSU,” stated Mike Wattigny, FRESHJUNKIE Racing, Marketing Director.

Participants can pick up race packets and shop commemorative retail at Pre-Race Packet Pickup on May 3 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Gates 26-28 at the South End Zone of Tiger Stadium.
