The Abbott Spotlight on Health 6km gives runners the chance to complete their Six Star journey

August 31, 2021 – Dreams can come true.

The Abbott Spotlight on Health 6km (3.7 miles) takes place this September and all those who successfully complete the race will be entered into a prize draw with one lucky winner getting to complete the six Abbott World Marathon Majors!

Whether they’re still trying to make their first Major start line or just one run away from the coveted Six Star medal, by completing the 6km distance in one continuous run or walk between Sept. 13-19, runners have the opportunity to achieve their dream!

The race is a virtual competition on the AbbottWMM Global Run Club which hosts a variety of challenges and races over varying distances each month to provide a community and motivation for runners around the world.

The winner will have from 2023 to 2025 to complete their Majors journey. The Abbott World Marathon Majors consists of the Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon, Virgin Money London Marathon, BMW-BERLIN Marathon, Bank of America Chicago Marathon and the TCS New York City Marathon. Once complete they will receive their Six Star finishers medal, an accolade which 6,600 runners have achieved globally to date.
