The Air Force Marathon kick starts 2022 with registration opening on January 1

The 2022 Air Force Marathon will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the United States Air Force and will feature the AC-130J Ghostrider.

Registration for the 26th Annual Air Force Marathon opens at midnight on January 1 with special New Year’s Resolution savings of up to $20 if runners register by January 3.

A New Year means new beginnings and a new you. The Air Force Marathon is the perfect opportunity to achieve your New Year’s resolution by staying active in 2022.

Runners have the option to compete in the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, 3-person marathon relay, Tailwind Trot, Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series, and virtual races.

Active Duty, reservists, veterans, National Guard members, retirees and ROTC cadets may receive an additional discount up to $10 off their registration.

The 2022 Air Force Marathon will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the United States Air Force and will feature the AC-130J Ghostrider. The aircraft will be portrayed on the official race shirts (choice of short sleeve or long sleeve), finisher medals, and commemorative patch.

Additional swag available for purchase will include an in training T-shirt, goodr sunglasses, BOCO hats and visor, beanie, limited-edition challenge coin, tumbler, and more.

The Air Force Marathon is an annual endurance event open to the public and scheduled for September 15-17, 2022. The weekend includes a two-day Health & Fitness Expo at the Wright State University’s Nutter Center Thursday, September 15, and Friday, September 16, a Breakfast of Champions and Gourmet Pasta Dinner on Friday, September 16, and After Party on Saturday, September 17.
