June 14, 2022

America's All-time Best 10K was back again this year with a massive turnout.

Boulder, Colorado /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – One of the largest road races in the nation, and America’s All-time Best 10K was back again this year with a massive turnout. After creating a unique variation of its event last year, this year BOLDERBoulder was back at 5,391’ above sea level.

In the Pro Race this year, Leonard Korir (USA) was the overall winner for the men clocking a time of 29:28 unofficially. Joseph Panga (Tanzania) was second with a time of 29:36 and Fabiano Nelson Sulle (Tanzania) followed in third place finishing in 29:53. Aliphine Tuliamuk (USA) was the women’s Pro Race winner with a final time of 32:58 with Biruktayit Degefa (Ethiopia) behind finishing in second with a finishing time of 33:35 and Anahi Alvarez (Mexico) took third place in 33:47. Official results will be finalized on June 20th.

The BOLDERBoulder mantra, “Oh Yes You Can!” since 1979, is the battle cry which has encouraged participants of all ages and abilities to participate, stay active, get healthy, get outside, celebrate Boulder, Colorado, and honor Memorial Day and those who have given their lives in service to this country.

“This year’s event was incredibly special and important to us that it goes well as we returned to the full event,” said race director, Cliff Bosley. “We wanted to make sure that we continued to bring that energy that people expect, we want you to feel “I AM BOLDER” in your heart and soul when you cross the finish line. That is why we entrusted the timing and event operations to the team at Stack Sports and End Result.”

In its 14th year with BB10K End Result has worked closely with the event anticipating its full return. The team at Stack Sports and End Result spends over five days in Boulder leading up to the event. They have a staff of 12+ managing separate start and finish lines, along with timing splits at each mile. Once the citizen race is complete, the course is reset for the professional race. The professional race utilizes a cross country style scoring, and teams are organized by country, with the US outfitting three patriotic teams, red, white, and blue.

“Stack Sports and End Result is excited to see this great event return this year with an incredible turnout,” said Kevin Jandt, VP, Endurance at Stack Sports. “Being a great long-term Partner with BB10K we feel a huge responsibility to make sure the experience is the very best. This year was an awesome opportunity to serve BB10K and time a great event.”

“We were so happy to see so many faces return this year, and can’t wait to see everyone again next year,” said Cliff Bosley, Race Director.
