Spartan Race holds first mass participation event since COVID-19 began

Spartan Race put on its first obstacle race since early March on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida. Spartan, had cancelled 22 events to date, losing millions during the 2020 pandemic. A smaller event with their Trail Series on June 12 had just under 150 participants, and on June 13, their 5K obstacle race had 1,253 finishers, sending out waves of a maximum of 24 people between 8am and 4pm.
