Hvar, Croatia – October 11, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The second edition of the Spartan 100M World Championship hosted in Croatia delivered an electrifying spectacle in the heart of Hvar’s historic city square, where U.S. athletes dominated the podium in both the men’s and women’s divisions, showcasing unmatched speed, precision, and mental toughness on the world stage.
The atmosphere was electric as the world’s best obstacle course racers battled through a tense knockout format, with obstacles packed just meters apart. The pressure built throughout the event as athletes raced head-to-head in high-intensity rounds that tested every ounce of strength, coordination, and composure.
In the men’s final, brothers Luke and Kai Beckstrand (USA) went head-to-head in a gripping duel that kept fans on edge until the last second. Luke ultimately claimed gold, with Kai close behind in second, and fellow American Kieran Yuan rounding out the all U.S. podium.
In the women’s event, the story of the weekend came from 13-year-old Elizabeth Polsgrove (USA), who stunned the crowd with a composed and fearless performance to take the world title, proving age is no barrier to greatness. Jaleesa Himka (USA) followed in second, while Germany’s Lotta Kokemohr claimed a strong third place.
