Run4Relief Raises $14,440 for Restaurant Workers

June 11, 2020

Baltimore, Md. (June 11, 2020) — Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced the 2020 Run4Relief virtual run presented by 19 Crimes Wine raised $14,440 for the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (RERF).  The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, in conjunction with Guy Fieri, chef and host of the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, created RERF to support restaurant workers experiencing extraordinary hardship in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

“A huge thank you to Corrigan Sports and 19 Crimes Wine for supporting RERF with their Run4Relief virtual event,” said Rob Gifford, President of the NRAEF. “With their help, we can continue to provide aid to restaurant workers across America who face financial hardship.”

A total of 673 runners participated in a virtual 19K or a 5K between April 19 and May 19. The virtual field was comprised of individuals from 33 states and Washington, D.C. The participants’ wine stopper-themed finisher’s medal will be shipped in June.

“19 Crimes is a proud supporter of NRAEF and we’re more than willing to help the cause and raise some much-needed financial relief for restaurant employees during this pandemic. The amount raised through the Run4Relief program goes straight to the restaurant’s most important asset – their people” stated John Wardley, VP Marketing 19 Crimes.
