Rockstar All Access Announces Southern Firecracker 70.3

RSAA, Inc. partners with Grenada Tourism Commission to bring a 70.3 distance triathlon to Grenada Lake.

January 29, 2021 Grenada, MS – Rockstar All Access announced it has secured a multi-year deal with the Grenada Tourism Commission to develop a long-distance triathlon called the Southern Firecracker 70.3. The USAT sanctioned event will be held on June 26, 2021 at Grenada Lake.

Grenada Lake offers some of the Southeast’s best outdoor resources and activities for the entire family. From the nationally recognized Grenada Lake and its recognition as the best Crappie fishing in the US to the picturesque Dogwoods Golf Course to premier outdoor camping and to the most beautiful countryside in Mississippi. Conveniently located halfway between Memphis, TN and Jackson, MS on I-55.

Tourism Director – Gary Worsham commented on the partnership saying, “The Grenada Tourism Commission is proud to be the presenting sponsor for the Southern Firecracker 70.3 at beautiful Grenada Lake. We are proud to be a part of bringing this new event to Grenada and look forward to the many visitors it will attract to our community.”

The Southern Firecracker 70.3 event will feature a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike course and a 13.1-mile run all within Grenada County. Transition will be spread across 25 RV spots at the north Abutment Phase II campground creating a unique socially distanced platform and showcasing the newly renovated world class camping destination at Grenada Lake.
